Circular and Digital renewal of central Europe construction and building sector

Construction industry displays a major contributor to resource consumption, total waste and green house gas emissions. The implementation of circular and digital solutions could potentially increase resource efficiency and minimize the environmental impact of the construction sector.

The ReBuilt project is at the forefront of promoting these innovative approaches through an educational program and the implementation of cutting-edge solutions. In collaboration with partners from diverse backgrounds, the project is also crafting a transnational strategy for circular and digital construction.

The project can be categorized in three primary aims:

  • Development and testing of a training programme on circular and digital construction
  • Implementation of technological and digital solutions for circular construction
  • Joint strategy for circular and digital construction

Advancing Circular and Digital Construction: Highlights from the 1st Transnational Conference for Circular and Digital Construction

On the 13th of March 2024, the 1st Central European Conference for Circular and Digital Construction took place at the premises of the Building Research Institute of Slovenia. Through this event, all project partners as well as relevant stakeholders gathered to disscuss barriers and potentials in implementing circular and digital construction practices.
