On the first day, discussions centered around developing new pilot projects, technical solutions, and strategies to make sustainable construction more attractive to various groups. The main aim being the advancement of digital and circular solutions in construction to further reduce environmental impact.
The second day included site visits to showcase sustainable practices, starting with a tour of Ettengruber’s recycling plant, which transforms construction waste into reusable building materials. Participants also visited a pilot project at Campus Ost of Munich University of Applied Sciences, where they observed the creation of concrete made entirely from recycled aggregates. These hands-on experiences highlighted how recycling construction waste can support resource conservation and CO2 reduction in the building sector.
