The Final ReBuilt Conference was held over two days starting on 4 March 2026 in Ljubljana, Slovenia, at ZAG. The hybrid event brought together project partners, experts, public authorities, and construction stakeholders to present the project’s main achievements and discuss the future of circular and digital construction in Central Europe.
Key topics included capacity building and training, testing circular materials and innovative solutions, improving transparency and traceability through digital tools, and developing regional hubs alongside a common strategy for the sector. The conference was moderated by Dr. Dragica Marinič.
A highlight of the first day was a podium discussion with leading Central European partners, chaired by Dr Alenka Mauko Pranjić, focusing on barriers and next steps towards a more sustainable, transparent, and digitally enabled construction industry.
On 5 March 2026, the programme continued with a peer-to-peer review and an expert field trip to the Demo Centre in Maribor/Dogoše, including visits to facilities for the recovery and reuse of construction waste and the production of circular construction solutions.
The conference targeted industry representatives, SMEs, public authorities, architects, investors, and students.
