Students and project partners jointly prepared mobile exhibitions within the ReBuilt project, focusing on circular materials and sustainable construction solutions. The exhibitions presented real-life demonstrations from Maribor and Munich. Innovative bio-composite acoustic panels and structural concrete made with 100% recycled aggregates were tested in practice at those sites.
- Nigrad Demo Maribor
The Nigrad Demo Maribor presented an innovative acoustic solution made from natural materials. In a real indoor environment in Dogoše, bio-composite panels based on hemp and lime were installed and tested for their effect on indoor spatial quality. The demonstration showed that these panels can significantly reduce reverberation and improve speech intelligibility, making interior spaces more comfortable for everyday use. At the same time, the demo highlighted the potential of low-impact, natural materials in sustainable construction. - Demo Munich
The Munich demo focused on structural concrete made with 100% recycled aggregates from construction and demolition waste. It showed that recycled materials can be successfully used in real load-bearing structures such as piles, slabs, and walls. As part of our mobile exhibition, these materials and their practical application were presented through posters and photos, helping visitors better understand their role in circular construction. In this way, the exhibition connected technical innovation with public awareness and education.
